HP 3D Printing workshop gives engineers hands-on experience

Leading up to Robotics Summit & Expo, Healthcare Robotics Engineering Forum and DeviceTalks Boston events, join HP 3D Printing for a unique workshop on designing for HP’s Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing technology to accelerate time to market, drive down cost, and deliver quality parts.

This “Design for Additive Manufacturing Workshop” will be catered towards attendees in both the robotics & medical device industries and the “real-world” use cases featured in the workshop will be focused on applications in these both industries.

Here is the agenda for the workshop:

Liz Stortstrom, a 3D Printing Application Engineer, will also be speaking during the Robotics Summit & Expo. The session, “3D Printed End-of-Arm Tools: Advantages, Applications, & Use Cases,” will explore the different types of additive manufacturing (AM), the advantages of AM over traditional manufacturing methods, the top AM applications for industrial automation & robotics, and share real-world use cases.

Stortstrom has a background in mechanical design and joined HP to support the development of the MJF technology. Stortstrom now uses that experience to help people take their businesses to the next level with additive manufacturing. She holds a BS & MS in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
